It has a molecular weight of 4,113.64 g/mol and the formula C187H291N45O59 (CAS 910463-68-2). First described in 2007, it is classified as a GLP-1 receptor agonist. Key structural modifications include the substitution of alanine with alpha-aminoisobutyric acid (Aib) at position 8 and the attachment of a C-18 fatty diacid side chain at position 26, a modification common in long-acting peptide analogs.
